i have said what i thought you should know

I am on top of things again! Yay!

First tech was really rough last night. Segun was mostly upset at the actors. Poor kids. He gave them a very lengthy note session. Our lead was in tears. Oy vay. I was not on my ball last night, but I think I know what I need to fix and I've got over a week to work on it. Always a good thing.

I didn't end up going to class yesterday afternoon, giving me time to finish up that movement paper. I turned it in today, only to discover that I had flipped a couple of terms. I told my teacher about it. She said she'd make a mental note. They sound the same, okay? I refuse to feel bad.

I just finished up my stage management homework (which was, as usual, pointless). I know my teacher's going to tell me it's messy and I don't really care. I've had worse. I'll fix it over break to make it readable. For now, though, it's fine. I'll probably end up putting everything in Word and make it all pretty. Whatever. It'll work for tomorrow.

I left a cleaning list on Chelsea's desk. We've got quite a lot to do before we're kicked out of the dorms on Saturday morning. I drew pictures on her list to distract her from the fact that I'm making her clean. Shh. If we don't say anything, maybe she won't notice.

Tonight, I've got a scholarship shindig I have to go to. That kind of sucks. I'm planning on dragging all of my rehearsal crap over to the school and leaving my keys with my ASM before I go. Heels+walking across campus+twelve pound binder=IMMINENT DISASTER. It's going to be cold out there. I all-ready know that for sure. I really don't want to complicate things any further.

So, I'm going to get all gussied up before heading for the Theatre Building. It's almost Friday! Yay! Then rehearsals.
