Today was a pretty shitty day. I had a test that I definitely could have done better on and another one I most assuredly failed (which happens to be in the class I am most assuredly failing). I had a speech that I wasn't as prepared for as I should have been. I got really upset about things with Matt and ended up basically crying constantly. Pathetic, I know. But then I went to rehearsal. And there, I fell in love.
With a torso. The most amazingly awesome male torso I HAVE EVER SEEN. And just bad-boyish enough to get me going without involving heroin or killing babies regularly. Mmm mmm good.
Thus, I have a new project. And instead of my former project with Bryan the Classics Major or the very short stint that can hardly be called a project with FriendSteve, this one might actually pull through. There is only one problem: he'll be twenty-three soon. I am yet a lowly eighteen year old. And while I am no longer 'jail bait', I am ridiculously young by university standards. It doesn't help that I'm small. And spastic. And, apparently, 'cute'. But I love new projects. They help me get my mind off of things, even if that does mean I'm ridiculously incoherent when home and my roommate constantly wants to slap me.
Oh, how the young mind is so easily distracted. Hmmmmm...
In other news, I am attending the only state institution in Illinois that did not have a snowday today. Hope all of you are all quite well and not suffocated by the deluge that I sadly missed. Please note: my roommate is much, much more upset about the lack of snow than I. But snow did kill my father. And rape my mother. Oh, dark humour. You will send me to hell.
As every year, it's World AIDS Day. Do a friend a favour, and wear a coat when it rains. Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.
