Oooogh... So sleepy...

I have been pleasantly busy as of late. I've been hanging out with Matt on a near-obsessive level; I'm certain it's unhealthy. I've also been seeing quite a lot of Sneemus with occassional sparkles added into my life by Christie, Liesl and ReAnne. An altogher good thing!

In addition to that, I have been Preparing For College. Which is terrifying. I'm trying to clean up my room so that I have everything I need. There's a lot of throwing out and sorting and reminiscing and hoarding things in boxes. Good times. At least I get to sit in my room and listen to music all day. It's what I would be doing anyway.

I'm actually starting to get excited about this. I've mostly been dreading it, what with the prospect of leaving home/friends/cat/boy/etc., but now it sounds really cool. I was talking to my roommate earlier today and thinking about the whole prospect of setting up where I live and how it looks and all and I got really geeked. That hasn't happened yet! I mean, I've been excited by certain aspects of it (*cough*computer*cough cough*), but not by the whole in particular. Progress!

I don't know. It's going to be weird, I recognise that. But still, weird can be good. That's why I have the friends I have. ^ ^

I'll be in Chicago for the rest of the week. Very exciting stuff. Tomorrow we're driving up to check out Tut at the Field Museum. AHHHHHHHHH!!!! MUMMIES!!!!! Dork? Yes. Then on Wednesday (my birthenday!) I'll be taking a train up with Paiga et al to go to Hippie Fest '06! We'll be living with Bozarth for an entire week--either fun or terrifying, but the prospect of food is still present. Lenghty, spastic conversations, night-time snuggles, the sunburn from hell, tasty things...ah, life. How I dote on thee.

I have to go finish up some stuff in my room and somehow get a hold of Paige to fill the Little Dude with musical splendour. Mmm... I love summer.
