i thought you could read my mind

today i feel: okay
today i'm hearing: ben folds -- songs for silverman
today i'm thinking: let's start over a bit

I'm doing a little bit of site remodeling, just for shits and giggles. Don't mind the mess; it'll be okay soon.

If you scroll down a little, you'll see some stuff on our new kitty. Check it out! He's an awesome little guy. Even if he did climb the entirety of my right trouser leg to attack my (sadly exposed) torso this morning. Which he did. It was kind of painful.

The Buttons are being cute. Gross.

My roommate's super-sick right now. She's been to the doctor's office, but they didn't give her a lot to go on. They think she has nausea. I think they're ignoring the GIANT FLAMING SYMPTOMS right before their eyes. But they're paid by the university, so they're not necessarily the best quality money can buy. I like my doctor down here, though. He worries about me. That's very endearing for some reason.

It's finally cooling down in Carbondale. That kicks ass.

I thought that Burkina Faso was dead this morning. He was hiding in the bottom of the tank and not moving. It was really scary. He's been really docile recently. It's kind of disconcerting.

I have a nice long weekend coming up in a couple of hours. The director of Verse Chorus Verse is in Chicago this weekend, so we've got a short rehearsal tonight, nothing Saturday through Monday and no production meeting Monday afternoon. The only thing I've got going on on Monday is a doctor's appointment (the Hip Mole might be going away. I'm surprisingly depressed about this). I can play catch up! I can get ahead! I can do paperwork! I CAN WATCH THE SHIELD! Wonderful.

Have a glorious weekend.
