CPCetc: damn...contact...

An update! Since ReAnne was complaining. Ahem.

GI made it to State. Did I tell you that? Not finals, but State. It was...tiring. We got down there Thursday night and found out they hadn't changed the schedule so we couldn't see the space until Friday morning. So we all bunked down at the Pear Tree Inn (which was our original plan anyway). I was going on five hours of sleep and two cups of coffee all morning. Then a cup of cappuccino. Then sleeping on Matt all day. Which was pleasant! Except...people decided it was amusing enough to photograph. And...I never really got to sleep because of the flashings. Ow.

I did run amok with the Fearsome Threesome and Laurel for a little while. We had talks at the Steak-n-Shake next door to our hotel. They coerced me into finding a prom date. Which I did. That was, apparently, the easy part. So far, I have discovered that the difficult part is trying to convince my mum that I'm really not comfortable with tulle-covered, foo-foo dresses, especially when their obsessive amount of beading weighs more than I do. No. Seriously. It did. It was scary.

I don't know. I'm sort of thinking more Fay Wray in Kong myself. But that's just me. Thoughts?

There was also some rather amusing discussion over whether cumberbunds were 'out' or not. I vote 'no'! But we all know about my obsession with cumberbunds. ...Especially after that time in Buenos Aires. ...And all the security guards were called in.

But we don't talk about that!

Mandie messed with my hair. I like it. Yes, that was worthy of writing about. Damn it.

And Sneemus? It was as good as I thought it would be. Better. Eugene Hütz deserves a premium award. As well as many premium American girls to be carnal with.
