My posts are like the morning mist. ...Even if I don't know why.

So here's the Kiri News for the...week.

At the beginning of the month, I was in Carbondale for an interview about the Presidential/Chancellor Scholarships at SIU, right? And it was a fantabulous time. Mum is convinced I need to find myself a nice little Engineering major to pay for me while I'm running around trying for auditions. But that's beside the point.

So Thursday night, I got an envelope from SIUC.

I GOT IT!!!!

50 000 $ for school! Full tuition, room and board for FOUR FUCKING YEARS!! I just have to pay for books! Isn't that fantastic??

This means I don't have to think about school anymore! Just what I'm taking and what I still need and how to monogramme my towels (Mum's insisting that that occurs. I'm thinking about ManU crests, personally). This is an exceptional feeling! HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LIKE THIS FEELING???

And you know what's even better? I really do like SIU. And I like their programme. And I like that everyone's so friendly and the campus is so huge and it's just far enough away from home that I don't feel like a complete loser for wanting to stay with Mummy and Da. But it's not so far that I can't come home if I need to.

And my parents are so thrilled. Which means that life at home is pretty okay. That's a good state to be in. I can handle pretty okay.
