** **I had one of the best birthdays of my life yesterday.
I woke up at seven because my alarm went off. I had this great plan to go do something brilliant in the morning, but I changed it for another hour and a half of sleep. When I finally really got up at 8.30, I went upstairs for my traditional bowl of frosted mini wheats. Which I love. Then I shaved my legs with my Intuition and it actually works really well. I am plesantly surprised. Dad had to go run some errands or something so we went out and did that, bringing home three new pairs of shoes, two of which were Converse. And they are really comfy. *waves new shoes at viewers* And I only got yelled at once for crappy driving. Which is a first.
I went out to lunch with Mum and Da at Delgado's and had some really tasty rice water. God, it's so good. Mmm.... *realises she's staring off into space* Well. *clears throat* Anyway, I went home after that and M-Sak came by after that and we decided to go over to her house and watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang because she had never seen it and I couldn't remember any of it to save my life. On our way down the street, Will came by! And I got a Will hug and it made me really happy because I hadn't seen him in ages! Honestly, I thought that was my present because I really missed him and was just thinking about bothering him when he showed up.
Our little fest at M-Sak's house got quite large, being added to by Chrissy, Teryn and Kerry. And it was a really good movie. And we all piled into Will's car and drove to his house and Kerry's hair got crazy.
When I went home, Brian was there and he gave me a whoopie cushion and J gave me a poster for Plan Nine from Outer Space, which is now hanging up in my room. We had mac-n-cheese and Garlic buns with Mum and Da, followed by a healthy supply of cheesecake. And I unwrapped stuff, which was fairly uneventful, except that I have new ink and am entirely too giddy about that.
As I was washing my new Spider-Man sheets, Katiemakes and Stacy kidnapped me and we went and got Carl's. And I had a bubblegum cone with eyes on it and I had forgotten how good they tasted. And we saw Joe! I was really happy, just eating ice cream with them and laughing at stuff that wasn't really that funny. And I hadn't felt that happy in too long, I decided; 'cause life was simple again. It doesn't do that enough.
When we went home, J read tarot cards and we all piled on his bed and hung around. Katiemakes really likes Brian, but she should. And then Katiemakes and Stacy had to go home and J and Brian talked while I snuggled Brian. He's really comfy. Then the three of us watched Family Guy and laughed a lot. Brian had to go home and he gave me a really good hug. Then J and I watched Futurama. It was hillarious, though not quite as funny as Family Guy. And I went to bed and wrote a little then proof-read 'til my eyes wouldn't stay open.
I wrote all this down because it was so wonderful and I felt so loved. I just wanted to thank all of you for making my sixteenth so lovely. I love all of you guys dearly 'cause you're the best friends anyone could hope for, even if you do insist on pouring silly string all over me sometimes.
